We started out though with a poor dining experience in the bar area. We should have made dinning room reservations in advance because we have had good meals in years past in the dinning room but this year we could not get into the main dinning room. So this time we tried eating in the bar area. We have also had better experiences at Lucky's outside in years past.

Almost all blackjack tables pay 6to5 and a lot of the pit bosses are rude. Most players are idiots that split 10s double on stiff hands and drink like whales they screw up the count for everyone and you can’t stop them from entering your table mid shoe. Rudest customers of any casino I have ever been to.

All of the servers were working hard running around serving their tables but the service was slow and the food was not the quality we were expecting. The pot roast was fatty, the tacos had little meat and flavor, the Buffalo Chicken salad and pizza also tasted like frozen dishes warmed up in the microwave.

Stopped to see the place and have lunch. Food really good and reasonable. Ordered a few things. The trout spread they have is to die for! Right amount of smokiness and if I could of bought it packaged to take home I would have! Originally a trout farm and one still can fish in their trout area. We played blackjack, no harness racing at that time. Also a vintage show down by the horse stalls the weekend we were there was really nice and wished we were hungry for the food trucks but we already ate at the restaurant.

It sucks, not a fun place to gamble when you gotta deal with garbage odds and rude dealers who don’t know how to deal and bad players.

Some dealers are cool but most work for tips and I understand that they should split tips to reduce favourtism.

I have been singled out and called the problem when people give me death threats for not playing a hand with a negative true count.

.

Go gamble your money someplace else without rude players every night and 6 to 5 payouts.

Overall my family had a fun day at the track watching the horses. The Running Aces horse races are a lot of fun for everyone.

Dealers play favourites. Good luck getting them to take your side if there buddy is playing and tips them good.

I have to say I really enjoy running aces, very relaxed staff all around. Comps aren't very good for High stakes players with host, which brings me to my next point. RA consist of 1 host that only works 3-4 days a week, doesn't answer the phone or return vm. Also loves to argue about why she can't or won't give comps, they forget they we pay there check not the other way around.

I recommend reserving a table outside near the building in advance of your arrival, luckily we were able to get one using the stand by list. It worked very well for our party of 9.

I went in six months ago or better, had a bad experience. I didn't sit down, I made a lap around the tables and seen not one employee had a smile to try and get you to sit down. Left a review and got a response. That response alone was a kind gesture and I agreed to try it out again in good time. That time came recently, I walked in and immediatly started looking for smiles. I saw a few (a Major improvement) since my last visit. I sat down a few times since and have had a good time. Still lacking on a "friendly" dealer environment. But I understand, they work for tips and those tips come when people are winning. I have advice for every dealer there. . . Work sucks, that's why we get paid to do it. And a great smile and friendly attitude (fake or not) will only improve your odds at a good shift, and repeat customers. I give running aces five stars now.
